1 in a million. I want to say that 'Too bad this isn't a YAOI manga' but as much as I love yaoi, Kuroshitsuji won't be sickeningly perfect as it is. The manga is twisted, all sorts of ridiculous and crazy at the same time sick you can't believe you were laughing just 1 chapter ago. The anime and its animation can't be missed. At 2015, that kind of delicate, high quality animation can't be seen anymore and even at the time it was made, was an absolute diamond. Okay, so, your mind will experience a roller-coaster ride, from 100% ridiculous, non-logical, crazy humor to 100% sick, twisted, genius- that alone is enough. I understand why the author's editor made her avoid writing it in yaoi- the plot: A demon butler serves a master whose soul he's waiting to devour, in return for his loyalty and obedience to his master's every whim and desire. I've got a major pet peeve of manga/japanese works using English in a weird way but I got over it since the story and art, and animation, were all very stellar. - See more at: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/kuroshitsuji/#sthash.AE0gXMex.dpuf
Reading yaoi since 2006 and I must say the plot gets better and better! One of the reasons I relish living in this era. This story has amaaaaazing artwork, but more that that, the story has depth, and tackles the issues of gay-relationships in a lively, non-boring way. Amazing.
For those looking for either light or deep read. This is the one. That's why it's brilliant.
