I usually hate pushy, overly involved characters but Ushio?? She's just chefs kiss. From her breaking in windows, to uploading their content, from cutting herself out of the picture when it was time. I truly love her character.

I love this. She's powerful and hot and it's not the cliche story where she's making some duke/prince/emperor who previously mistreated her fall in love with her.

Okay but on a serious note, I'm kinda confused. She wants to stop Ain from becoming the villain so she's like "I'm gonna shower him with love yadda yadda" but why is she so hostile to the duke?? Is her version of changing the story only for Ain?? I'm not hating I just truly don't remember and don't wanna reread.
i think its cuz she s under the impression that ain isnt evil yet while she literally saw his dad have a body in a bag dragged after him so maybe she just thinks she cant change him once he s that way but she might be able to prevent ain from becoming like his dad .... tho she s probably wrong cuz that kid doesnt have an innocent bone in his body ╮(￣▽￣)╭
She's scared of him. She saw him dragging a body+feeding poisons to Ain. And I guess she knows about his personality from the books and probablly thinks it's to late for him.
