The constant parallels between Thorfinn and Canute are amazing, I wonder where it’ll go this time? The moral dilemmas between starting war and killing for their people vs. avoiding it at all costs.. even when it hurts your people. Is it fair to argue that war is in our nature? I mean you literally see “wars” between wild monkeys . Anyways, I can’t wait to see how Thorfinn reacts under all this pressure.
