he literally said that he realised that he couldnt hold onto taemins hand (metaphorically obviously) if he didnt have the power to protect taemin. which he hasnt got since he's a poor ass kid living in the slums getting abused by his mother, who woojin couldn't protect taemin from. which is why he went to his father (presumably, since he's working for his father's company now). he wasn't allowed to go meet taemin for some reason,otherwise he would've done so way before taemin died, but he rushed straight to him when he heard that taemin was in an accident. you can't blame a single thing that happened to taemin on woojin, and woojin isn't bragging but rather glad that he got the second chance that he knows he doesn't deserve. which is why he's obviously overprotective of taemin this time and doesn't care about what others say about them because he knows he isnt going to get another chance like this if he fails to protect taemin this time.
ok wow can you read your own post please? you blamed woojin for not holding onto taemin and therefore implied that he was a indirect cause of taemin's poverty and death. also you have no ide whatsoever why woojin left and how he left. he might've gotten taken away from his father suddenly or maybe he wasn't allowed to contact anyone he knew from before, hence his new name. you're looking at this from an extremely biased perspective in which you talk about how taemin felt when he saw the empty house and stuff but then go onto blaming everything on woojin and almost antagonizing him. what about how woojin felt when taemin could've died because of his own mother? or when he saw taemin dying? i understand that you absolutely hate woojin apparently but 1. let's not forget what you said yourself and 2. at least try to think why woojin didn't leave a not or... something.
