Oky so I would like to say, I don’t think the mc has 0 self-confidence, maybe now he does but before I don’t think so. Like he literally confessed to the shit seme— that’s some level of confidence. Do you honestly think the mc can think the seme likes him after all they’ve been through? The seme didn’t even say he likes him or gave any noticeable indication that he does, something the uke can notice. So how can he think that the seme might like him, they’re fuxkbuddies.
