I cannot believe that Ryo got sexually assualted and then Ninomiya made him apologize for letting his guard down around someone he trusted. Not the victim blaming I swear to God.
I have to admit I missed that the first time around while speed reading this. It does ruin the rest of the story what with the author making a big deal about Ryo's growth as a person? And Ninomiya also backslides a lot? This isn't shaping out too well.
I think the author tried to convey that as jealousy, not victim blaming, but as far as I know/read, victim blaming is common in Japan, so maybe the author didn't see it as a big deal (but we see it in another light)
