I really wish the author would make the early relationship between Endeavor and Touya more clear. This chapter seems to imply he didn't mistreat Touya in the beginning.
This makes me wonder if in regards to the fire, did Touya "die" because Endeavor pushed him to use his fire power or was that because Touya pushed himself in order to please his father?
Based on what was said in this chapter, Shoto was already alive and could use his quirk around the time just before Touya died. Enji would have known Shoto possessed the quirk combo he'd desired in a child. So there would have been no need to keep pushing Touya (who could easily burn) when he had Shoto. If Touya felt like he had no worth any more I could see him going to Natsu to ask why did he exist. And then in an effort to get his father's attention again and prove his value, overusing his power at Sekoto and accidentally letting it get out of control.
Another mystery is - who recovered Touya's body from the fire, healed him up later, and left a fake jaw at the scene to make Enji think his child was dead? I'd think AFO was behind this but . . . I don't know. What would be the point unless at some point he wanted Touya's body.

1. Does Shouta have blue flames yet? If not wouldn't Dabi be stronger?
2. Could Dabi's fire actually hurt Shouta considering Shouta's own flames don't burn him?
3. I'm not clear on this, can Shota or Endeavor touch flames not produced by themselves and not get burned.

1. Blue flames are at a higher temperature. But in terms of variety, Shoto has the upper hand because of he has two quirks. And in terms of skill, Endeavor has more experience so it will be difficult to decide who's stronger.
2 & 3. I don't think they are immune to heat in general. Shoto did get a scar from hot water (heat). And, to an extent, they are also able to hurt themselves by their own flames. When Endeavor fought with that Nomu, he was slowly scorching himself because he was using his powers too much. I believe this applies to Dabi/Touya as well; as we see his skin looks like patches which can only mean fire wrecked his body.

Thanks for the response.
I figured Shouta got burned by the hot water because either 1. he was young and his quirk(s) hadn't fully matured yet and had it been mature it could have protected him from the heat. or 2. The boiling water to his face was a surprise so he didn't have a chance to activate his quirk to keep from being burned.
But you make good points.
Though unlike Endeavor and Touya, Shouta can control how hot or cold he gets by his 2 sides.

I don't have a problem with the age difference between Q and Pan. In real life sometimes there is an age gap with a couple so I don't think it is a big deal here.
My issue is with 2 things -
1 How Pan treats Q and
2. Q has this sort of neediness that allows his partners and "friends" to take advantage of him. I wish he'd work that out first.

You know I think the author forgot that she tipped us off that Fusa knew what was up between Sugiki and Suzuki.
In chapter 17 Sugiki is watching Suzuki and Aki dance and thinking they don't look like lovers (which is the feel they need be giving off in their dance). Then he asks Fusa how does he and Suzuki look when they dance and she (Fusa) looks surprised by the question and asks "even though you aren't a couple?". When she looks at Sugiki she notices he looks upset in response to her comment. This further astonishes Fusa and she tries to comfort him.
To me right there it seems like Fusa has some kind of inkling that Suzuki has romantic feelings for Suzuki. But later when Dolores tried to point out that there was something going on between them, Fusa was like there was no way Sugiki would like men and that it was just her imagination and Fusa genuinely seemed to believe Sugiki had no feelings for Suzuki until she observed them closely and saw the LOOK that passed between them.

I found it kind of sad when Red said to YuYang that "out of all of his friends he (YuYang) is the only one" (blah blah blah). The friendship part is what I think is sad because I wouldn't actually call YuYang his friend. I'm not even sure if YuYang would call them friends. They are acquaintances at best and they don't even get along all the time.
His relationships with people are apparently that shallow that he'd call his interactions with YuYang friendship. This mindset of his sort of leaks over into this thing he's got going with Uncle. He hasn't been in proper relationships so how Uncle is treating him doesn't ring as something that is messed up. He is almost pitiable in his attempts to get the attention of someone he considers his boyfriend/lover but that person doesn't consider him a boyfriend just a momentary fling.

Soooo . . . does this mean Suzuki and Sugiki will no longer train together from this point onward? Are we now entering the phase where the cat guy takes over Suzuki's training? And Martha said Sugiki needs love to make his dancing complete, how can Sugiki reach PlusUltra if he is still missing love or rather the love of his life is going away?

1. I'm fine if Yamato and Yuiji don't become a couple. I think it's nice to see such a supportive friend for Yamato front and center in the story rather than just a side after thought. Considering all of the fear, stigma and ridicule Yamato has gone through, its nice to see someone there for him that has absolutely no ulterior motives including romantic interest.
2. I pray Hibino is actually genuine in his interest and is not setting Yamato up. I keep thinking what if that bully and Hibino are in cahoots together. That bully just didn't seem satisfied with not getting the whole school to stick to the belief that Yamato is gay.
Hi guys,
Okay, someone here posted links to comments on the upcoming chapters in the new volume but they were in straight Japanese. It's late and I just briefly glanced at some things. Here's a couple of things that stuck out. BTW I only know some jp so bare with me if I make a mistake.
1. The park where they dance will be closing for construction.
2. I'm a little confused, because in the last chapter of vol 5 they break up but the comments seem to suggest that they are still dancing together but will stop when Owen
- the rich cat guy that dances with his sister - comes to town.
3. Sugiki (black hair guy) has some kind of medical condition (I don't know if it is something recent or something that developed sometime ago)
are you talking about vol 5 chapters?
No, I'm talking about Vol. 6.
