She’s defo not the protagonist but fish pond manager. Sadly, one by one the fishes move to another pond ╮(￣▽￣)╭
From Tita’s pov, she’s his ‘forced’ guardian (as the sh*t father shoved him to her out of the blue), but never sees her as mother figure more like mentor for him. He always wants to be strong because she encourages him to be that way.
From Clete pov, Tita is a cute kid but she also never sees him as her son, just someone she needs to raise well in order not to be killed in the future (≧∀≦)
And Clete is somewhat immortal, her age stop in her 20s. So when Tita grows up, they will have same age (≧∀≦)
And this kinda plot is quite common in fantasy novel tho.
