tbh i want to get this off of my chest. To be so forreal w you, this story is so messy, but just packaged nice and sweetly.
The D.I.D (dissociative identity disorder) is not really represented correctly. D.I.D is a defence mechanism for a CHILD’S mental state. It gets developed before the child’s personality/character of a child has fully formed. So the trauma- that was so severe for the child to even process let alone handle- would be before/around the age of 7. But ofc some variation in cases are possible. For how good the art style is, it’s sad that the characters’ feelings felt so rushed for some reason.
