Yesss this is from the second book. They're the second couple. Chris is a total cutie, he totally won me over by the end of the book.
Super condensed spoiler:
Taeui and Ilay get in an argument and Taeui says he'll leave. Ilay is like ... I'd like to see u try. But then Kyle asks Taeui to get back a book from Chris and when he goes he ends up seeing Ilay (oops) so Ilay thinks he ran away (but not really. He just gets worried about Taeui since Chris and Richard are crazy. Their relationship develops a lot in this book). Chris and Richard are rivals and Richard is the worst bastard you can probably imagine......he sucks tbh.. but they both have issues and of course Taeui likes to stick his nose in other people's issues. The whole book takes place in Chris+Richards family mansion (did I mention they're cousins LOL). Chris is technically a love interest to Taeui, and I'm not even gonna lie, their relationship is super cute and wholesome. Ilay gets jealous, Richard gets jealous, blah blah blah. But in the end Taeui and Ilay are still end game and Taeui loves Ilay a lot (and says it multiple time hehe).
This second book is def very interesting. I would share a link but the story got deleted :'(

This is such a fresh story amongst all these brain dead reincarnation, transmigration historical romance. Love this story. I hope it maintains its unique storytelling.

I just cant stop crying. I really really liked her. Plz tell me she is atleast alive. I really wont be able to forgive those involved in this. She was naive, of no use to the duke but she was so pure in heart TT
This story is really great. I love it especially when there is no reincarnation and even without all that extra knowledge, a female lead is strong, calm and resilient. I cannot stress how much i love her character and how great the story is. Simple plot but they added so many complex layers. I am soo curious what will happen next.
This seems so fun. Also first time seeing the ml ask for contract marriage instead of fl.
