It would have been 10x better if it had made sense. The balance between conjecture and vital information shouldn't be lost on a mangaka but in this case it was -__-
I like it when authors play with the idea of someone who is completely dependent on another and how twisted the devotion can be towards that person; I just eat it up. But then it turned into....THAT, and I was disappointed. I didn't want THAT >_<
Once you get used to the scroll-down format, it really plays out like a movie rather than a comic, with a lot of the pages done like screenshots of a video in succession. I Am A Hero does a very similar thing and is just as effective.
Because the judges have ruled in favor of Eizan before *tasting* or *seeing* the opponents' dishes, I predict Soma will use the smells from his dishes to entice the judges to give his a try.
The way they're talking about it so casually, when we all know how WWI played out as well as the Holocaust. It was absolutely horrible and the fact that they *don't* know the possible future that lies in store for the world with this information on the gas is haunting and foreboding to me (⊙_⊙ )
