I have no doubt in my mind that the older man did in fact care about the prostitute and the black haired youth at the same time, and when one falters, you fall back on the other. Who cares if it's "second choice"? They're together, aren't they?

I haven't read any of her yaoi, but this looks interesting. Finally, some shoujo manga that has realistic proportions that are pleasing to the eye. I also love how the editor shuts her down immediately. I am sick and tired of immature female protagonists in my stories; it gives it a much more realistic feel. On the other hand, he says her manga submitted for the contest was very good, so he's not a sadistic, cold, heartless tsundere that seems common nowadays. I'm actually looking forward to this one.
