If you think about it, they got the most romantic meet up. Like Daniel literally save Mason back then! He even wanna give him a present and dine together. The reason Mason started liking Aiden was because he didn't judge him based on his preference, Daniel didn't also, so if both of them meet again and fix the misunderstanding from the past , imagine, they could really be a couple.
I think both of them have the same scar on their eye. Mason got it from that pathetic excuse of a friend ,Dillon, while we still don't know how Daniel got his. I'll freaking die if he got it to revenge Mason as to return the favor he did for him ( <== Yes, i am delusional at this point). But then it might be from the past when both the Kang siblings were still young and it could also relate to why Aiden claims to be an only child when in fact he is clearly not
