No wedding or anything but they definitely ended up together. I don't recall if he even left the Dukedom because his dad was against it. Don't remember too much but romance is definitely not the main goal to the story.

This is what i remember from reading the novel but she gets picked up pretty quickly by Catherine (? The girl who’s bro tried to kill fl) and her growing family.
I’m not sure how much spoilers you want but this is a really bittersweet story that can leave you with a lot of mixed emotions. Im trying to keep it vague since I think this story is genuinely worth the read if you can stomach the ML and his inability to take responsibility for his actions for a while.
Further spoilers:
FL does begin to heal from her thoughts of suicide and depression. There are still scars that cannot be repaired, but she does come to terms with being alive and chooses to keep living.
