I just read the top comment/review on this, and damn This story got them really mad.
I mean…if they know that they don’t like children MC or daycare trope, why tf they read it in the first place? They got mad at something that they themselves step into.

Rightttt..
And I even feel insulted when she/he ranting about how below 30yo men or women stay single all their lives just for a child.
My uncle decide to stay single to take care for his step-kid after the mother/wife died of cancer. And it’s not like my uncle didn’t have romance, he just prioritized caring for the child first because he love the kid eventho they’re not blood-related. But this person trash-talking about my uncle’s situation like he is so pitiful and isn’t happy(︶︿︶)=凸

They have like 2 pages of replies. I remember being one of the first replies bc it was so dumb. That person said they felt deceived because the story had a romance tag, except they found that this story was all about caring for a kid. I told them to look at the name and the cover picture.. because honestly, how can you not put 2 and 2 together. That and the fact that the child is the mc.. felt like op was so dumb.
And then they replied
“ Not again .. How old r u? How many mangas abd manhwas have u read till now?
I am not old either nor any expert but up until now I have learned a simple but effective truth and ie. "NEVER TRUST THE COVER ART".”
Like girl I guess?? I guess your senses failed bc nothing warranted their whole rant .

I really love the author’s take/perspective on military & soldiers here. Most of action fantasy manhwa that took place on modern time usually potray military as either useless & weak or evil.
In this story, the author makes the military not just flat characters. They can be kind and actually want to help people or bad, like the recent arc. And the author able to make them ‘useful’ not just useless. Ofc they’re weak compared to the mc and the supporting characters. But they’re still useful and helping MC in the battle.

I actually curious for what reason they marry him and have this kind of obsession…
I kinda uncomfortable reading this, but I think that’s what the author wants us to feel. That all of this is eerie, immoral. Well, there is no romance tag so I can relax lol.
The plot is intriguing, sad to see it got low rating. Well, ofc it’s understandable bcs people will get uncomfortable by this kind of topic as a plot.
In the moment where Almond smiles, it reminded me with that one line in Haikyuu.
“When ‘the’ moment came to you, that time you will be hooked in volleyball.”
I guess this chapter is ‘the’ moment for Almond
Truly
