sorry but saying the untamed "is deceiving people" is stepping out of line. first of all, the untamed is ADAPTED FROM THE NOVEL. it was not meant to "deceive" anyone. and let's not overlook the fact that china is very strict with bl contents. as a fan of the show i found out that they were even supposed to make wen qing the female lead opposite wei wuxian but they didn't went down that route partly because wwx's actor also wasn't in favor of it. in any case, the show brought out what it was able to without offending chinese censorship. the casts themselves weren't even sure the untamed would be broadcasted. and if you pay close attention, there were actually several scenes of wei wuxian and lan zhan's where they were definitely not just being best bros on screen. lastly, the untamed for me was my road to reading the novel, to reading the manhua, to watching the donghua, to listening to the audio drama. i will not lie that i am a little sad that the tv series did not include the extras in the novel. but does the untamed need to show a kissing scene just so people can say "oh they are not just bros after all"? don't call it deceiving （￣へ￣）
