The only fight scene I like between hanbin and the "hot" guy is the part where he smiled even though he got bitten and they got pushed to the ground. That. Was. Badass. The rest is just kinda meh.

Tbh, it's understandable why he would want to spare that mistress's life. After all, he does not love the Empress and he has an emotional attachment to the mistress despite her personality.
