I think this is the first story i have ever read that i know nothing about the character other than their name and their smiling face. like 24 chapters in and i have never seem the dude mad. let's just wait till we get more but i sense some very dark past.

Even though all might thinks he can say those words to deku because he might have been under a similar situation but the thing is deku really isn't the symbol of peace yet. He is hidden from the public and what hurts more is he has such a strong drive to become that symbol of peace, that hero worthy of the quirks given to him that he forgets he is still a high school student. That he should still rely on adults, on the heroes esp during these times. He is too hard on himself since day one and its even more now that they are running against time. I can't imagine the chaos once he becomes public. The additional criticism for the heroes in using a high school student to fight against villains, the pain in his mother's, friends, classmates and teachers faces, the increase in danger since he is the no. 1 target of villains to gain afo's favor and worse, he can become a sacrifice by those who don't believe heroes exist anymore. The only thing I can wish for now is that as bad as the consequences might be, I hope that they will also gain from it. I'm sure his classmates especially will come to help along with his schoolmates and might even convince some heroes to come back. I just want someone to enlighten deku that he can share that burden.
