dunno why everyone's freaking out over "give her to me" when it's clearly not meant romantically, and also it's rare enough that an orphan maid from an institution that opposes the king is given as much consideration as she has. she's a security risk, protocol literally dictates that she should be KILLED on the spot, and yall are complaining about how the phrase "give her to me" doesn't take her agency into consideration. if the only thing between me and death is some nonsense words, i'll take the nonsense words.

Loving the irony. Raeliana's fate to die tragically wasn't chasing Raeliana's body, it was chasing her soul. Meanwhile Beatrice's fate to win the heart of a powerful man and live life loved by others is also attached to her soul, not her body - that's what the person chosen to possess Beatrice (our main character) got, even while in Raeliana's body.
Such a nice depiction of karma - you get what you put out into the world. Your fate is dictated only by the kind of person you are and the consequences of your own actions.

yall really blaming a victim of physical, verbal, emotional, AND sexual child abuse, who was NEVER raised properly by anyone, for still being manipulated by other abusive people?
what part of "obviously he doesn't have common sense, LOOK AT HIS CHILDHOOD, you wouldn't know left from right either, with formative experiences like that" passed by yall.
dude was actively being fucked up in every way possible during THE most sensitive years in his growth. acting dismissive or even blaming him for the actions of the woman taking advantage of him and manipulating his trauma for her benefit? if this is how yall actually think about trauma, i beg you, please read up on PTSD a bit before you ever talk to a real-life traumatized person.
