this is probably the worst webtoon ive ever read, but for some reason i read the whole thing. idk what im doing with my life. let's all have some self-respect even if selene won't.

correct, i usually don't keep reading what i dont immediately enjoy, so i haven't read a lot of bad comics to begin with. idk what grasped me about this and kept me reading. the plot as an idea IS interesting, but the pacing is messy and the characters lose all internal coherency when the plot requires it. i feel like it just... could be much better.

hey sorry if i hurt anyone's feelings by saying that. I've made webtoons, I know how difficult it is, but readers will inevitably have their personal preferences and opinions. the lack of self-respect is a criticism of myself, because I kept reading something even though I wasn't enjoying it, and that was my mistake.

Yep, sometime you can't help but laugh at some of them, or just throw your phone. Like I lost count how many times a FL get drugged by some Ceo or FL was a secret agent that got betrayed then got reincarnated into a "ugly" girl. Maybe that why some things are bearable too read cause I even read worst. There's only like 10 to 15 Chinese manhuas that are good to me and some of them are shounen ai. Ironically, Chinese novel aren't bad.

this is getting kind of funny. the author's doing the misunderstanding plot really well imo, because instead of one huge misunderstanding that lasts a really long time and makes the leads pull away from each other for a pointless and unenjoyable separation arc, our leads are still somehow moving forward in their relationship. none of the dread from the initial misunderstanding lasts for very long. "oh no he saw the note - oh but he's still openly flirting with her! great, this will move them forward- oh no she accidentally affirmed the misunderstanding and he's gonna pull away! oh nvm she's not gonna hide how she feels at all, we still good-"

the way she's so confident is actually hilarious, like she really doesn't think. if the duke got sick of her enough, he can just have her killed. if she gets annoying enough where her death has more pros than cons, it'll happen, the only thing stopping him is that she hasn't gotten to that point YET.
but if she wants to stick to him her whole life, it will eventually come down to assassination, make no mistake. we can assume sally will kick her ass in a socially-acceptable way first, but if that failed... i am not kidding when i say the duke would not hesitate to kill her. she's very silly for not realizing this. like a child, thinking high society can protect her from everything. by all means, push someone who hates you into a corner and see how he reacts.

Ig she’s just confident enough because of the experiences of her past life with him and by the fact that he’s so desperate to get rid of his wife and she was so willing to help. But honestly he could have done away with her and got someone new and just repeated the process. That would definitely have made a bigger statement. Though it probably still wouldn’t have gotten rid of his wife because she’s a psychopath

the spoilers change nothing, bfr yall. "oh no she took it for granted" so like? talk to her about it then?? don't scheme to rob and murder her, jfc. the mc is who the mc has always been. the spoiler only explains why the sister got twisted, but it in no way justifies it.

It's not like what she ended up doing instead was any better? lmfao. And did she try to talk about it before or after MC comes back to the past? MC's past experiences give her good reason to not trust her.
And I heard she ends up getting redeemed anyway and is a secret genius - but the author has failed to establish this in any way. The fact that she's supposed to be the smarter twin actually makes her behaviour worse. If she was a genius, she would've been able to claim what she's owed regardless of if her sister believes her. Take it by proving she's qualified, not by pretending to be the sister that's so inferior to her. Compete with your sister directly. She wanted to take revenge anyway, so she has literally no reason to pretend to be sick, since she doesn't care about her sister's wellbeing atp. Instead she picked the most pathetic and inefficient way to go about things. It's clear that the author wanted to write a character who is a genius in theory, but had no idea how to actually depict one. Neither smart enough to be a genius nor sympathetic enough to get a pass for it.
i feel like the pope is probably lying for a reason. she Needs to hear she's not the chosen one rn, for her own assurance, and it's probably necessary for whatever the prophecy rly meant too. bc i suspect that the prophecy meant she would literally steal the kingdom, not just marry into its existing royal family.
