I dont get that long black hair girl who pursues the FL's best friend, like ik you like him but its so obvious he's disinterested in her romantically. if a guy really likes you, he would make time for you no matter how busy he is and reach out to you first. he's also always talking about something else when he's with her (not actively trying to get to know her) etc. like I feel bad for her but damn take a hint or just straight ask him out and get rejected bc its obvious he's not going to ask you out

why did they change his daughter to making it his little brother that died instead, its such a huge thing to change too. I hope he still goes into that sexuality crisis phase, bc I think thats really what made the tension sparking lol
No that scene just remind of his brother who died
No, they are asking from the novel pov. In the novel it’s his daughter who is killed by a serial killer. I’m curious to why they would make that change as well…
Personally I want to see what how they’re going to use him having a brother instead because in the novel I felt like they didn’t mention his daughter a whole lot idk I just felt like she would be more significant to him seeing as he was an orphan himself and all (like I know he wasn’t all into his daughters birth mom and everything but still I thought he would be more attached to his daughter)
Agreed, the author could have fleshed that part out more. Overall I felt the novel was rushed.
