for some reason it pisses me off that stories w/ childhood friends that are each other's first love and move away but get reunited, the ML always has to have some past, like sleeping around a lot or in this case, another lover, which is completely normal, I mean the MLs probably didn't think that they would ever see the FLs again but it just irks me that the FLs always stay pure and innocent and never had a lover before or get to explore that but MLs always have plenty experience. for fuck sake quit it with the girls have to stay pure and only loyal to the ML even if the ML isn't around

Yessssss 100% agree! The ML is so indifferent and unsure while the SL is nothing but supportive, even supporting her first love to make her happy. It’s annoying bc she’ll probably overlook all that for the sake of “first love,” when it’s obvious that he’s changed and not the same person and they just have to make the FL stagnant and boring :/ authors really need to change with the times... we want strong female characters in our stories (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

what pissed me off the most was that in ch.1 he said " he waited two years" like no you didnt. you assumed you got rejected and moved on. He even said he "really" liked her. How the hell is someone supposed to find a message INSIDE their hat?!
