Why do I feel like this whole recounting the past stuff is like him seeing his life flash before his eyes. Like DUDE. I dun want that! Don’t dieeee. I can’t handle any of you dying (except the b*tch queen herself of course)
This chapter made me have mixed feelings.
1. During the first part I was glad that the main characters are finally coming into picture after the long recap. The kids are absolutely adorable. And when Hak pulled Yona along to go see the cat, it reminded me of the scene where he pulled Yona out of the castle when Su Won betrayed her father. I think Yona’s mom saw this future too.
2. But then in the second part, I felt both angry and sad for Su Won’s mom. She was mainly the reason why the priests all got murdered and her praying to the gods kinda made her a hypocrite. But when I got to the part where she couldn’t find the reason for her family’s existence, it was just so...sad. No one should have to suffer knowing they’ll have an early death. Even more so when there’s no reason for it.

The fact that the king didn’t even have the GUTS to give out the punishment himself but instead gave the responsibility to his SON is plain pathetic and disgusting.
I kinda wish she’d use the hourglass a bit less because I worry she’s gonna be a granny soon. It’s really frustrating to know that she can’t help it. *sigh* If only the hourglass didn’t age her (￣∇￣")
No don’t worry she doesn’t age she just gets tired and has to sleep in exchange for turning the hour glass
