enjoyed the first couple of chapters (kippei accepting himself, making up with his sister, their relationship and trust developing) but the last two chapters felt a bit rushed. i wouldve enjoyed if it was more of a slow burn but there was probably a chapter limit which forced the plot to move faster. wished sato's problems had been fleshed out some more tho cuz it kinda felt out of place. solid read tho, interesting concept i havent seen before

what yall gotta understand is that the mother lost a child i dont think what she did was right--the right thing would have been to be strong and be there for her other child but people rarely do the right thing when theyre stricken with grief. and she spent the last twenty years full of guilt, for both of her children. the reason she never reached out to shinwoo is the same reason shinwoo never reached out--she felt responsible for her sons death. again, as the adult she shouldve stepped up but she wasnt able to. you can disagree with shinwoos decision to forgive her but it was right decision for him and now he can move forward without feeling guilty

"I'm so sad, i just lost one of my child and my husband and my in-law is so abusive. There's nothing i can do to except to abandon my one child, the one and only family that i have left, with my abusive in-law so that things could get better for me."
Is that sounds like a person who is in grief to you? Or is it just an irresponsible and selfish parent who doesn't actually care about her family?

it sounds like both. like i said, i dont agree with her choice but am able to understand that the decision she made was out of grief and guilt. you can understand the reason behind someones actions without condoning them. and ultimately, forgiveness was the best decision for shinwoo because now hes able to move on.
why is he running away screaming omg hes so cute
someone said that he must be thinking mc is a stalkerrrr HAHAH
with the amount of times theyve run into each other, i kinda dont blame him lmao
