Loved that Onoe straight out asked if that guy's his Ex :D some would fear the answer or feel a little embarrassed to ask or to immediately jump to that conclusion and settle on asking "so, who exactly was thaaat?", but it's typical for Onoe to just say what he thinks ^^ gotta love him!

Thats absolutely why I think onoe is so special. He's earnest and mostly means what he says. Hes a bit ditzy at times but good thing he has Kabu to straighten out the mess. They're perfect for each other.

Love the story, characters and drawing, but every time I reread it...with so much that's happening I feel like I'm missing something. Like I know what's going on, but they act like there's something else, something bigger, they're just not naming and I have no idea what it is.
Also some reactions are confusing me. Like ...dunno... when Yamato realies Hozumi saw the papers and knows he'll study far away, but just leaves saying he shall leave the key when he's going back home. I mean... that situation demands so much more reaction. A proper talk or (if he's too busy right now) at least the words "it's gonna be ok, let's talk later".
Aaah, I can't really name my problem xD it's just that I feel like I'm constantly missing something (the fact that their pasts are only hinted at and never properly explained isn't helping too much either :D). They talk so much, but I keep asking myself "What are you on about?".

Ja genau. In Vol.1 hat man sich selbst irgendwie zu versuchen erklärt was genau jetzt mit Hozumi an seiner alten Schule war (meine Vermutung: Er wurde übelst gehänselt und hat es sich an einem Tag mal nicht nur gefallen lassen, was dann eskaliert ist und mit Krankenhaus endete) und wieso sein Vater "so" reagiert hat (schätze der ist einfach von Haus aus ein Arsch an Vater).
Und in Vol.2 (oder 3?) dann eben die Nummer mit Yamato's Vater, wo man auch am Ende dasteht und sich denkt "ok, spinn ich mir eben selbst eine Story zusammen, wenn der Author das nicht macht."
Und ansonsten hat man immer das Gefühl jmd würde mindestens im Sterben liegen und man hats irgendwie verpasst, weil alles ganz dramatisch ist... nur man weiß nicht so richtig wieso es SO überdramatisiert ist.
Yup. No disagreement with your post whatsoever. I love Hozumi and Yamato but those were two of the main reasons I'm not totally enthralled with this.
Anyone know were to find the RAWs of the Extras of Vol.2?
(cuz what's called "extra1/2/3" here is Vol.2, isn't it? And since they mentioned they won't translate the Extras, I'd at least love to look at their RAWs ^^).

Well I still find it totally odd that even though the main couple was right in the process of a big big, long overdue break-through we suddenly jumped to those two... I'm soooo interested in seeing how they'll turn out xD

God finally back together. Still don't really get why Nemu paused their relationship to begin with or what exactly made up his mind in the end (it all felt to forced), but that's finally over. So yeah :D amazing chapter. Only ruined a bit by Nemo bringing Ruka to his 2nd birthday. I think I was just as pissed as Maya ^^ I mean what the actual hell. On the first date after all that and with the guy who caused it on purpose!? Not cool.
Could someone tell me what exactly happened bewteen Kaburagi & Sanjou? Kaburagi used the friendship with Sanjou somehow... but how? I'd get it if Sanjou'd be the rich kid, but he's not. Did he simply use his popularity? Seems like something he wouldn't have much interest in... so what's going ooon xD
I think it's because Kaburagi wasn't a sociable kid in his school days, so teachers (in a very patronizing and self-righteous way) would bug him to make friends and be social. So basically his friendship with Sanjou began as a means to shut people like that up and leave him alone. I could very well have missed something too bc I tend to skim flashbacks, so if anyone has anything to add to that, feel free.
Yep, and he was using him and being all fake, that's why he feels kinda awkward in my opinion and he cut all ties because he's himself now. When it comes to Sanjou I guess he thought he was his one true friend, that's why he can't let go.
I'd be really glad if Kabu had a friend like Onoe has
