I'm so sorry, I'm not trying to insult anyone but this is a result of countless reading manga/manhwa that's from Japanese/Korean/Chinese.
There are only a few good Chinese manhwa I've read and they Smh can be count using just fingers but most of the Chinese manhwa I read is somehow had these fast-paced story, ridiculous character mindset and the most painful thing to my eyes is the weird anatomy and the lacking of perspective in the art. I'm may be wrong because I've only read the first few chapters but some Chinese manhwa doesn't even have that much improvement even after 200 chapters. I hope all of the artist can somehow focus more on improving their arts along the project they're doing.
Nevertheless, the story they're trying to deliver are very interesting and good.
Again, I'm sorry as I'm not trying to insult anyone qwq
Please.......PLEASE I NEED TO READ MORE AAAAAAAAAAA
IM BITING MY HANDS OFF BECAUSE THAT FCKING EX DID SUCH A SHITTY MOVE OHGOD BOI YOU DONT DESERVE A MAN LIKE THAT AT ALL
What shitty move? I think the ex is trying to be civil with the MC, its just that the ex new lover is trying to get in between.
I think if the ex is actually a shitty person he will not meet with the MC to begin with.
I think he still loves the MC, but he also love his new lover and don't want to just throw him away now that the MC returns. If he did that, I think that is more shitty.
I get it but no he’s a shitty person. He’s not willing to break up with his current boyfriend but isn’t breaking up with the MC either which is just hurting the MC even more. And because he doesn’t want to break up with his current bf he says stuff that hurts the MC just to please his bf. And this is in the raws but he even slaps the MC and gets jealous even though he has a whole bf.
I think it is implicit that their romantic relationship is already over, the fact that he introduce his new boyfriend to the MC. I haven't read the raws and can't read Korean so I am not able to comment on that yet. It's just that he can't say that he doesn't love the MC anymore because he still loves the MC.
He is in a new relationship, he needs to show that he no longer have feeling for the MC front of his new lover to make his new lover feels assured. And the ex knows that his new lover is jealous of the MC.
In the raws the MC straight up told him to give him an answer if their over or not but he didn’t respond. And I understand about him wanting to make his new lover feel secure but what he says and does goes beyond that. He’s willing to show show off his brand new relationship to his ex but isn’t willing to break up with him is pretty shallow tbh
Yes, I agree that making clear of their break up is the best course of action but it is the MC reach out to the ex to talk, and I think the ex did right to meet him because not doing so is much more cruel, he is trying to salvage at least their friendship. But the ex has still feelings for the MC thats why he is trying to act cold to make it clear to him (thats why he said he needs time because he is not expecting the return of the MC). I do sympathize for tye MC and the ex because their situation is really shitty, the MC waking up knowing that his lover have someone new, and the ex torn between the MC and his new lover, either he get back with the MC or stay with his new lover its inevitable that someone would get hurt.
I completely understand what you’re trying to say, but in my opinion after reading the raws for the ex it’s not so much about preserving their friendship but more wanting to keep him romantically. He doesn’t want to break up with him bc he still has feelings for him but yet still manages to hurt him. Like you said he’s torn between the both but that doesn’t excuse his behavior. He’s doesn’t want to let the MC go but doesn’t realize how much he’s hurting the MC and that’s why I believe he’s a shitty character. And for the new lover I read a spoiler and also in one chapter he made it seem as he was hiding something, and that something was that he new the MC was in a coma but chose not to tell the ex. So I hope you can kinda see why I’m not very fond of both the characters.
Well as I've told you before I haven't read the raws and can't read Korean, so I have to wait for it to be translated since I don't wan't to comment with incomplete information. Well I understand why you hate the new lover, but I think that your anger for the ex is misplaced. I'm not sure but it seems to me that the MC is the doesn't want to let go as well, which is perfectly understandable.
Its just that the ex didn't expect that the MC would return after all those year, and while he is still inlove the MC, he is chained with a new relationship. I don't think it is easy to just forget your feelings, especially when he longed for him for so long.
For me, the ex is the most pitiable character in this series. Because even though he still love the MC, he can't do anything about it because his new lover don't want him to. He is somehow sacrificing his own happiness for the happiness of his new lover (maybe out of guilt.)
I don’t agree with the ex being the most pitiable character but everyone has their one opinion. My anger isn’t misplaced just because the ex is sad doesn’t mean he can physically abuse the MC that’s inexcusable. I really hope the new chapters come out soon so you can understand where my anger is coming from.
Yes, better to decide once everything is already settled. But I just can't fully blame the ex, because it is not as if he didn't love the MC, its just that their circumstances became really messed up.
Well people are reading this through the MC's POV, and I don't think the ex back story will be extensively discuss. I mean only the result that the ex gaving up looking for the MC has been shown but not the process of that 5 years he has been searching.
Not yet final but based on some spoilers I've read not everyone will end up happy, people are going to be deceived and manipulated, to the point you can't blame them for their actions. I hope there will be a second story for the other characters though.
Also I think it is always a good practice to try to see the story from the point of view of the other characters. I don't know if its just me but some characters receive undeserved hatred (other Manhwa) just because the story is being narrated from the MC's POV.
Although I understand your point that the MC suffers a lot in this work, but honestly, if I were on the ex position. I don't know what the best thing to do as well, people preach that the ex should have been more like that and should have done this, but I doubt they will even try to search and cling to hope for 5 years without knowing if your lover is still alive or not.
He can't even be fully happy that his lover is alive due to the circumstances. What he has wished for has come true to a really bad time.
Also, sometimes we know what to do but our emotions doesn't let us do so. And it sucks, because no matter how much you want to kill/control your emotions, sometimes you simply can't.
Cheers.
I was going to read but seeing how most the comments complain about the Bad translation, might have to postpone for now. I had enough wasting my brain to comprehend the art and panel orders, I don't want to waste more energy to decode secret messy words to understand.
I'll just enjoy the image instead ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
What the person under you said! S2's translation was sooo not worth it..... it was really funny though. Someone else mentioned this story is done in raw form too so you shouldn't have to wait for ever :D

Mc looked at the empress during the last fight and legit 'yelled' that the empress was, and I quote, "YOU ARE LOSER." OMG it cracked me up while reinforcing how bad the translation was. That is not the climax of the story were reading

"ah yes, another hot black hair bae to Stan "
*Sees Harem tag*
"Aight imma head out- (⊙…⊙ )"
