Everybody else: Wow! It's Duke Crenoix! *worships the ground he walks on*
Alicia: *uses him to extort people*
OMFG, I'm dying! Alicia is the best! XD And Ares has a LONG way to go before she sees him as anything other than a useful and annoying tool. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
It would be amazing if one of the servants mentioned all the other stuff that fucker is stealing from the palace in front of our bamf trio (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I don't think this was that terrible. There are worse stories out there. I think that considering how short this story is and how long Michiru was living with sensei, that it makes sense that there is not much character development. He spent his whole life living as an object, not thinking for himself and isolated from society. It's gonna take years before he gets better, specially without therapy. He needs to rediscover what is like to be his own person. And I'm glad he at least has monetary and emotional support.
And Yuuji's issue was that he had lost confidence in himself as a traditional artist, but had found an outlet in tattooing. And thanks to Michiru (and his contacts) he got the chance to act as a traditional artist again. But he was doing fine from the beginning, so it's not like there was a lot of drama on his side to unpack. This was Michiru's story, not Yuuji's.
Also I don't think neither Yuuji or Michiru are as much of a yandere as some people are saying. If anything, the sensei is the one with possessiveness issues. Yuuji is making sure that Michiru can rediscover himself besides living as a art piece or a lover. Michiru is back in school and finally interacting with other people. And it might have taken a while, but I think he is getting better at relationships.

So Lilith has read the novel. By the looks of it, someone else reincarnated and wrote it down. That would explain why she didn't react to the name of the novel, but to the words "the original story".
That also means that she is acting the way she is because she has a goal in mind. Considering that she didn't even look at the crown prince, didn't approach Arth or Naska, I wonder what it is.
Didn't Sasha say it was important for Naska to fall for a human in order to save the world? If Lilith knows that as well, why isn't she interested in him? And how important is Payne to the plot?

About the issue with the Korean food and costumes... THANK YOU, AUTHOR!!! I thought it was super strange that the servants had enjoyed it and that she even managed to make a Korean dish in a fantasy world. If this is any similar to medieval Europe, commoners shouldn't be used to any seasoning. Even sugar was a luxury! And Korean food is REALLY spicy.
And the truth was that NO, they didn't enjoy it! Of course not! And what the hell was Sasha thinking, talking about Korean costumes openly like that?! Specially to Arth, who is supposed to know almost everything! Is she trying to give away that she is not from there?! This was the first time that I actually thought that Sasha is just as much of an air head as she pretends to be.

There is something bothering me. Edith seems hopelessly in love with Ares while he doesn't even look at her twice. Isn't it incompatible with how things were supposed to go in the book? Or is this the earlier version of the book? Did the MC cause a butterfly effect this strong simply by existing?
Ok, so in the finished book Edith and Ares were supposed to get together after Kai became a tyrant. Ares would find her crying in the woods, promise to help her and eventually they would get together and fuck like rabbits. Now Ares has already decided to take responsibility for Alicia's lost virginity.
But shouldn't he at least consider Edith? Something like "Wow, she is also beautiful! Too bad I already have someone!" He didn't even look at her! It can't be just looks, Alicia and Edith are on the same level. Is it because she was too interested in him? But Alicia also showed interest in him on their first meeting (out of interest but that's not the point). So why?
And if this was already the relationship between Edith and Ares, what changed in the book to make him give her a chance? Did he feel sorry for her? And if Edith had already been in love with him for years, was that meeting in the woods staged?
What do you think?

You know think about it, the only reason he went to the celebration cuz alicia was there, in the books scenario, alicia never had a big role so there is a chance he woukdve never gone to the celebration if it was the book
and also he knows ediths true nature after the earring incident sooooooooo makes sense why hes an ass to her

True. But Edith had already showed her crush on Ares before, when they were discussing the celebration. And Ares seemed to know who Edith was both when Alicia mentioned her and when Edith talked to him at the celebration. And considering that he seems to be the hero of the empire (by Kai's reactions), it wouldn't make sense for him to have never at least ran into the princess in the palace, as he probably had to go there to talk to the previous emperor.
That's what I don't get. They clearly met before, so what changed on that meeting in the woods? Did Edith really felt bad for all the killings and became more mature? Did Ares just felt bad for her? Was he using her to get Kai out of the throne and then fell in love for real?

That excuse was super lame. If the maid had exchanged her earrings for the ones Alicia was supposed to receive how is the maid still wearing the cheap ones? Does she has a collection of those? Of course not!
I'm glad that Alicia is finally realizing that Edith is not her friend. Maybe she was blinded by her knowledge of the book, where the MC is supposed to be a good person. From now on I hope she will start to fight back.

She said it was because she was needy. I assume it means she sold the more expensive pair and changed it with a cheaper one?

1. She didn't do it, it was just a excuse.
2. Clearly Edith chose the clothes and the accessories the maids were wearing. Otherwise they wouldn't all look the same. And that model may have been popular a long time ago, but like Alicia said, the earrings the maids were wearing and the one she received all had very intricate and a very specific set of designs. So It wasn't a matter of the maids putting on some cheap earrings, but clearly something Edith organized.
So how could the maid steal some expensive earrings and replace them for that specific model? She somehow found an exact copy of the cheap ones she and the other maids were supposed to wear at the party to give to Alicia? How many of those did Edith give to her maids? There was no reason why Edith would procure an extra pair. Like I said, it was a really lame excuse.
