Sooo I don't really understand how Cole sees Alex, he represses himself so much on anything non-sex related (and even that took a while), and despite not liking this the moment he sees Alex, he gets horny af. I feel he doesn't see Alex as a person, more like a very addictive, very sexy, lifeboat in a pool. He can swim somewhat without it, but the moment it's there he doesn't know what to do without it. And for that he doesn't do or say anything he isn't sure will not upset Alex, but that ends up with a relationship overreliant on sex, and since he has an inferiority complex the size of the moon in this relationship, lack of comunication will end up eroding it from the inside.
