Woah, the comments section really hates the original female lead... does she do sth despicable in the future?
so she tries to kill everyone important to her by acting to be cute and act as the Duke's real daughter(the body is Yunne's but a evil monster is controlling and takings over her body). SHe stabbed Derick (I dont care about him though) tried to get Renald to think Penelope pushed her, made the original Penelope's soul to be destroyed since she kept dying over and over in a time loop to stop Yovonne. Took the DUke hostage, almost killed Callisto and she tried t physically stab Penelope so she wouldn't stop her evil plans. Shes just so two faced and manipulative its gets you really angry on how she gets so many people to gang up on penelope
Why?! I don't care about Derick either and the Duke as a hostage is a bit upsetting as he was warming up to her but almost killing Callisto?! That's just crossing the line! I shipped him the moment they encountered (tho it was kinda crazy at the time) as i felt he wasn't as crazy as he actually was and that they'd make an awesome pair. I actually didn't like the vibes eclis gave off and since the story was going in that direction i just felt like dropping it. After few months, I was bored and came back to find that my ship had a chance! I HOPE YVONNE CAN JUST LEAVE PENELOPE ALONE WITH CALLISTO. She can have eclis or the magician (i kinda forgot his name; he's not bad perhaps but i just don't like him as the ML)
Is this good?
I like it. The MC is manipulative and down right evil with no justification at all, he does what benefits him most and he wants instant result. He’s strong but not the strongest, he has a way to get by though. Imo the rating would be 9.5-9.6 if the MC wasn’t so cruel and ruthless. It gets more interesting as you go, maybe around ch20-30 (=・ω・=)
It's a 10 for me atleast. I like villains trying to survive by any means possible. His nature is purely evil and he knows that. There's not even a single conflict between himself being hypocrite and trying to justify his actions. I want mc to be cruel and Ruthless. Tbh here there are people like murim who condemns who feels like demonic human no matter how many people they themselves killed in name of quest. If mc was not Ruthless he would have died a hundred times at the hand of players; not quest, not monster or anything else.
I don't know? Maybe my tastes are bad? So far there is zero romance or any indication of it for the future. Maybe people don't think there is that much character development, but in my opinion not wavering in his decisions and morals is what makes this story stand out. I'd suggest giving it a go in your case and seeing how you like it.
I get migraines from reading his words. Firstly, he divorces his wife because of his so-called love to Rashta and now he tries to prevent her from remarrying? They're already over. He's got no business whatsoever with her. I don't care whether he doesn't want a good ending or a bad ending for himself but why does he waste time and ruin others' happy endings. What I see is that he's throwing childish tantrums. I seriously wish Su Luxia would enter this story and teach that scum a lesson.
He didn't divorce her because he loved Rashita. He just wants to make Rashita's child the official heir. But he is just so dumb to think that Navier would wait for him when they didn't even have that good of a relationship anyway.
He's the one fucking someone else on the side, why is he even surprised she moved on so quickly?

Omg the Cedric is just so perfect! He has the face and all like every other MLs but his personality is a diamond. He's nice, cute, playful, understanding, caring and loving towards Iris. I didn't know such characters existed anymore. Tho Iris deserves it, poor FL had to live so long with that ungrateful bunch!
