Different storyline. The elements and characters are probably alike but the sequence of episodes seems to be different.
Unfortunately, I didn't find the translation for the LN only the WN so I can't say.
This is so good that it feels almost as a waste as a dj. It should be a full serie with original characters that would give all the credit to the mangaka, like this she or he has to share the merit with the original creator.
Once this mangaka start making original material I will rejoice!
