Okay so I'm gonna give the general overview of what happens, though I really suggest you read the novel if you want more insight (I can give you the link, there's 15 chapters translated into English)

a little after this scene Juyeon basically tells Jiwook to stay put which Jiwook obviously doesn't listen to so he meets up with friends, has drinks, some male junior hits on him and Jiwook beats the fuck outta him out of anger. Jiwook doesn't pick up any of Juyeon's calls or respond to any messages so Juyeon starts plotting absolutely heinous shit. Jiwook then goes on about his life for about 2 months I think?? He doesn't hear or speak to Juyeon at all.
One evening he was out drinking with friends again. He then gets stalked, beaten and kidnapped by the guy who was hitting on him (the junior he beat up 2 months ago) and some more guys ( I think there was 4-5 guys in total) They knock him out, drag him to his own house and what follows is about 2-3 chapters of absolutely the most vile and deplorable shit. The junior guy is a massive sadist who is into violent sex. They beat him, rape him, nearly drown him in the sink, Jiwook mentions feeling like his guts where gonna be pulled out, just fucking awful
Turns out this was all orchestrated by Juyeon as a way to "punish" Jiwook for ignoring his calls and messages. After this event Juyeon basically tries to "domesticate" Jiwook by having him locked up in his room all day, if he rebels Juyeon punishes him. It's a lot of this back and forth and in the latest chapter in the novel Jiwook willingly wears a collar with a leash so that he can leave the bedroom and go to the living room for a "change of scenery"
Also the novel does explain why Juyeon is doing all this and YES Jiwook was a bastard to him and YES he deserves punishment but in my opinion this is beyond that. It's a depressing revenge story where Jiwook is stripped away from his humanity and forced to exist as a "thing" rather than a person

Ikr?? Idk what the hell the author was smoking to write this. Also the title 'empathy ' is so absurd. Like am I supposed to just accept what Juyeon is doing just cuz he was hurt in the past?? Hell no he's still a rapist and an abuser. Also I forgot to mention that Juyeon treats Jiwook pretty much like a dog. He has him pee and poop in that same room he's locked in (on puppy pads I believe??) Ans he also even joked about feeding him dog food

The physical touch here is SO GOOD. Like I can literally feel their love for each other through the screen honestly props to the author for not going down the route that some other omegaverse manhwas go down (*cough* SA and depression *cough*) and actually turning this into something so sweet and wholesome. They're so handsy with each other and the expressions during the smexy time is *chefs kiss*

I've been putting of this manhwa for YEARS. Ofc for all the right reasons cuz let's be honest here Nakwon was a literal piece of shit at the beginning who committed SA not once but TWICE. He was rude, arrogant, cunning and probably the most corrupt cop ive ever seen. But that being said I'm actually starting to finally tolerate him a little. He does everything with Mokhwa in mind and he truly goes all out. That in itself is respectable af. Also it's cute how head over heels in love he is now and he doesn't even hide it ╮(￣▽￣)╭
