This is extremely long :') I tried my best to keep it in chronological order, but I'm sorry in advance if I messed up! Also, this doesn't cover every part of the story, but basically all of the main points.

> As you already know, Sovieshu has taken Rashta in as his concubine. Navier was expecting this since previous Emperor's have taken in concubines too, however what she was not expecting was Sovieshu being so cold towards her since, before he met Rashta, Navier and Sovieshu were on good terms despite not being in love.
> It's rumoured that Rashta was a runaway slave (which is actually true) and so she is judged by the nobels around her. Sovieshu doesn't like this though and instead works to bury these rumours and even goes as far as to threaten punishment to those people who try to speak about it.
> There is a New Years party going on in the Eastern Empire (the story is set in this Empire) and so nobles and other Royals from neighbouring countries come to celebrate. This is how Navier meets Prince Heinley (ML).
> Heinley has the ability to shape-shift and is actually the golden bird that we see in the latest chapter. Navier doesn't know this though and at first exchanges anonymous letters with the birds "owner" (Heinley). From this, they develop a close friendship.
> Heinley later declares that he's been exchanging these "anonymous" letters with someone and he wants to meet them in person, but he only did this to see if Navier would come forward. Upon hearing this, Rashta tells her personal maid to come forward and act like it was her (the maid) who was sending the letters since she had a crush on Heinley, but obviously that went to shit.
> Rashta herself them came forward and said it was her herself who was exchanging the letters with Heinley and claimed that she told her maid to cover for her. This didn't last long either and instead caused a feud between Sovieshu and Heinley.
> At this party a number of new and important characters are introduced. The first being Grand Duke Kapmen.
> Kapmen is from a neighbouring country and works with Navier in relation to trade deals and things like that. They weren't friends at first, but long story short, that changes.
> Navier recieves many gifts for the New Years celebration and stumbles upon a potion that she received anonymously. It was a love potion that was meant to be given to Sovieshu with the hopes that he'd look at Navier first after drinking it and would fall in love with her instead.
> Kapmen has magic capabilities and had previously come first in his class at a magic academy. Navier was aware of this and went to ask him if the potion was legit to which he said it was. She didn't really believe him though, so to prove it to her, he drank it and looked at Navier and immediately fell in love with her. He said it would be alright since he had an antidote, but it didn't work. Instead he stayed in love with her and his love for her grew over time. Oh and at some point he punches Sovieshu in the face because he talked down to Navier.
> The next important character would be Viscount Roteshu (I think that's how you spell it)
who is Rashta's previous owner while she was a slave. At the party, he declares in front of everyone that she was a slave and all the nobels were shocked and rumours started to spread again. Upon realising his mistake though, Roteshu claimed that he got it wrong and that he mistook Rashta with someone else but people were still suspicious.
> At a later stage, Roteshu meets with Rashta privately and tells her something shocking. As a slave, Rashta had a previous lover which was actually Roteshu's son named Alan, and to top it all off, Rashta and Alan had a baby together.
> Rashta thought this baby was dead (being one of the reasons why she ran away) but it turns out that this baby is alive and is living with Roteshu. With this info, he starts to blackmail her, asking her for money in order to keep her past a secret.
> Another important character is Heinley's best friend, Duke Elgy. Him and Rashta become close friends quite quickly and upon seeing her struggles with the nobility, he become like a mentor to her and gives her advice on how to get more people on her side. He also helps Rashta pay money to Roteshu so that Sovieshu doesn't find out.
> There is a well known Duchess named Tuania (I think) and she has a rather dark past of her own. In order to divert attention away from Rashta, Elgy tells Rashta about it and suggests that she spreads rumours about the Duchess instead, making her societies new "chew-bone" as he likes to call it.
> Bombshell: Rashta becomes pregnant. I know. Tragic.
> After the festivities, Heinley has to return to his kingdom because his older brother and the currant King of the Western Kingdom is dying. He also doesn't have any children making Heinley the next heir to the throne.
> Sovieshu asks Navier to plan the banquet in celebration for his and Rashta's baby since it'll be his first born. Navier obviously isn't pleased about it, but she does it anyways.
> This next character wasn't introduced at the New Years party, but at some point after that. He's Navier's badass older brother, Koshar. He's a big reason that Navier and Sovieshu get divorced.
> Koshar is known to have a short fuse and has an extremely violent temper. Literally everyone is scared of him lol and when he came back into town (he was sent away by his father), he was buying gifts for Navier when he heard commoners talking about the Emperors new concubine and the fact that she was pregnant.
> He went to the palace and was pissed to learn that his sister was being neglected so he devised a plan. Albeit a stupid plan but...yeah.
> He told his friend to buy abortive drugs and place them in Rashta's food in gradual dosages. Sovieshu eventually found out about the drugs though and immediately figured it was Koshar who did it and ultimately blamed Navier.
> The drug doesn't little harm to the mother, so Rashta was alright for the most part. The baby survived but at this point was rather weak, so she had to remain on bed rest.
> This is a short but relevant side story: When Sovieshu and Navier were children, they would often play and eat snacks together. One time they found a plate of cookies that had abortive drugs baked into them (it was meant to be eaten by one of the previous emperors concubines) but instead, they ate the whole lot. Because of this, Sovieshu believes that Navier is infertile because she hasn't had any children yet despite being married for several years.
> Sovieshu realises that he needs an heir to the throne and uses Koshar's stupidity as an excuse to divorce Navier. (A concubines child will not be seen as a part of the imperial family and therefore has no right to the throne, even if they were born before the Empress' child).
> Bombshell #2: The baby isn't even Sovieshu's. It's Alan's. Haha. But no one really finds out about that until ages into the novel.
> Sovieshu makes a plan: he knows that Rashta will not make a good Empress and that Navier is infact a remarkable Empress and wants to keep it that way. So without telling Navier, he intended to divorce her and make Rashta the Empress for around a year, so when the child will be born, it will be legitimate and will be the next heir to the throne. After this, he would remarry Navier and make her the Empress again. Or so he thought.
> Turns out, Navier overhears Sovieshu promising the position of Empress to Rashta (but she doesn't hear any part of the plan) and is distraught. She later leaves to clear her head and travels to a neighbouring country where she meets with Heinley again.
> It was at this point that they agree to marry, and when Navier returns to the Eastern Empire, the scene that occurs in chapter 1 begins.
> After the divorce, Navier and Heinley get married and they become their countries first ever Emperor and Empress (I can't remember how it went from a kingdom to and empire tbh). Shortly after, Navier become pregnant with Heinley child(ren)? (I'm not sure if she has twins or not but it's definite that she get so pregnant).
> Sovieshu regrets all his life decisions and yeah...karma sure is sweet :)

Im not a fan of the crown prince even if he likes her n hasn’t force her or even if he helps her he isnt a simple man he is cunning and my favorite is the 5th prince he is adorable i wanted him to b the ML but since she slept with him n was back in the day she had no other option but him since she wasnt a virgin already that ment she can never be a wife but one of the many concubines instead n also man would probably look down on her for it

Jesse and chase? The one with the blonde hair and the one that's the other dudes son? I don't think they will. (Assuming they are the right people -because I suck with names-) I get the sense that Jesse is really starting to like Andy(?) And Andy is also starting to notice his developing feelings for Jesse.
Chase also has his heart set for jesse's dad (forgot his name) for the moment. I assume that he will soon notice that his feelings are slowly blossoming into something more that he intended and the dad will eventually start to see chase as someone more than a kid, and will start to take his feelings seriously aswell. If you mean Joel and Chase then I agree. Chase is manipulative and sneaky. He takes Joel's kindness and he tricks him into being with him. Chase is rude to our main pair and threatens them. He doesn't deserve Joel but I think you're right, they're going to end up together.

Lmao I got their names mixed up, so just to clear things up I meant Chase (the blonde kid) and Joel (the main guy's dad).

And I agree with you that their relationship might turn into something more. The thought of it makes me so uncomfortable since Chase is basically the same age as Jesse and, seeing as Joel's a parent, I think that dating someone the same age as his child is something he should avoid. On top of all of that, Chase is the type of character to create a scene until he gets what he wants. In other words, he's manipulative and stubborn. Idk, it's just an odd pairing...

i'm still in the phase of thinking (or maybe, hoping lol) that joel and chase will never happen. them being together just doesnt sit well with me.

I thought that at first too! I think Emiel is only 18 at this point and tbh he does look within that age range. Estelle is just small for her age, and we need to take into consideration how she was abused and neglected not too long ago so that is most likely the reason why.

You know what, you're absolutely right. Emiel has been training his body to become strong as a knight and growing big. Estelle probably hasn't even been breathing properly being locked in a tiny container for so long... probably not eating right or sleeping right the poor girl

Yeah, I really do feel bad for her...but hopefully from this point on she'll lead a much better life :)
