I absolutely LOATHE romance in action. I hate it so bad and I avoid it. I say this as someone who has read over 400+ historical romance manhwas. Action manhwas are MY break from the same rinse and repeat romance manhwas i pick up.

HOWEVER, i think the author did a good blend. Towards the end I was feeling a bit irked since I couldn't wrap my head around how their romance would work in this system-like world but... I liked reading it. It was very unique and they did match e/o's freaks. I didn't mind it as much in the beginning and it made me giggle, it genuinely did feel like i was also reading a romance manhwa. I will admit towards the end of the arc i was like "OK. Wrap it up " but this manhwa is waaay too interesting to just let a love story get in the way.

Give it a chance. I picked up this manhwa ages ago but the beginning made me drop it since I didn't like the protag's views and his skill, BUT i decided to give it a chance yesterday and I didn't regret it. I binged it all.
