this story is quite similar to mushoku tensei. but mushoku tensei is really problematic. so i just wanna ask if u agree for art to have companion or significant other in his present self? because for me, (im afraid to say this and it makes me question my morality), im kind of okay with him having a significant other like tessia or whoever you ship to art. because he's already a reincarnated one. it's not his past self (the king). i mean sure he still have his awareness about what happened to his past life, but he did go back to the start (him being reincarnated as arthur). he still have his 30 something old mentality. that's why im confuse if i should be totally okay with him having a partner. because i think his case might fall to "grooming," but at some point, i dont think he's intentionally grooming those children around him (tessia, kathlyn, etc.). unlike rudeus, he clearly said he'll shape sylphy. and arthur also question his self if he will entertain tessia, isn't it morally bad? he is aware of it. but he has a body of 12 or something year old eh. so, im really confused and i wanna know your thoughts about it.

that's what I thought at first when I first watched Mushoku tensei: that it was similar to tbate, and ofc tbate is much less problematic and I enjoy reading it more. I have to say, if you read the tbate novel, it will somewhat clear up your suspicions? at first I also thought it was weird, and he himself also tried to avoid himself having a romantic relationship with someone less than half of his mental age. though I dont think it is too much of a problem anymore, as he was raised as a child and I was sure that when he thought the same exact thing as you in the novel, that he wasn't gonna try anything like the gOoD BoY he is but I understand your concerns
