I read it at a site that the reason the FL was reincarnated as Athy was because Jeanette wanted her to live again risking her life. But the problem was she couldn't remember. She was able to grant her wish because she had the ability and she's a cursed child thats why it had consequences. Also since she's cursed she's mostly the reason why Claude is suffering and died in the real novel.
