I think you should look for Novel spoilers, I’m also annoyed by the factor that they have kid but all of them have no memory of it also. But from what I know it doesn’t go by how you think and it has it’s unique story, and honestly I didn’t see anything you mentioned in this manhua. Funniest thing is manga sy doesn’t translate this so it’s safe

I usually agree with you and the start might give you that impression... but believe me this has way more to it. I would recommend reading the novel and using the comic more to put faces to names or enjoying some moments that are goog to see... but overall the comics are not very detailed and often makes the story seem bad...

Yeah it isn't like other stupid manhua with boring plot... At first I thought the same but it isn't......
1st ..ml is not jerk. He didn't imprisoned her bcz he was some horny beast or anything but bcz he had the responsibility to protect her as he was her guardian nd promised her grandpa to protect her.

2nd..she isn't wanwan but woriless nie nd she asked ml to remove her memories so that she cud start her life anew bcz she suffered something traumatic(ask more if uh want)

3rd..ml didn't know that he has child bcz she didn't tell him bcz she didn't know his exact identity nd she doesn't remember bcz of her memories gone.

4th...ml is really nice.. He is on the way to his death bcz while protecting woriless nie he got badly injured hence he died in previous timeline but in this timeline he will get better.
He always supports her.

Now ml is not jst patriach of si family but also Lord asura of asura, director at arbitrary council.

Fl is woriless nie of nie family, ye bai at dazzling media, ye wanwan of ye family, bai feng of fearless alliance, yi yunmo (act as daughter of this white haired dude in order to help yehan bcz he is fl's master nd president of arbitrary council. Oh she is also black widow of rose of death.

Fl went to steal some information from asura nd met ml (Lord asura) (fl was young at that time) she mistook ml for someone imprisoned by devil Lord asura. Ml dint corrected her bcz he didn't want her to get scared. He asked about her identity but she also lied about being just a member of fearless alliance (she was it's president though).. Later they kept meeting but fl was heart broken bcz emperor ji rejected her (her first love nd fiance) nd was getting drunk ml wanted to comfort her bcz he liked her .. They spent night together nd later started living together... When she got pregnant she didn't tell him bcz she didn't know his identity nd dindnt know if he wud accept her.. Later while having conflict with her grandpa she thought that she killed her grandpa nd was traumatised but si xia wanted to kill her bcz he thought she killed grandpa.

I kind of understand know, this is pretty much fl can do anything type of thing, I kind of read a novel like this too and at some point it gets boring, there is probably too much drama and misunderstandings. (●￣(ｴ)￣●)

Nope there arent any misunderstanding..like fl kinda figure out evrything nd ml kinda have low eq but still its more like drama like what will happen next...the novel is really good its just that manhua have much less details so it gets boring but novel is amazing some scenes are really touching nd its too good

To shorten it... her life as Ye Wanwan (her past life and part of the current one) may seem like the cliché chinese modern romance.
Being plotted by family member, falling from grace with the elders of the family, meeting an overbearing CEO, being forced to be with him while loving someone else, being betrayed by a "friend" who is into the CEO, having a bunch of women plotting against her for him etc... going back in time and getting her sweet revenge and heppy ever after with said overbearing CEO...
That would be the typical... and the start of her second life goes that route... but slowly you see things that don't quite add up... her tastes, behavior and knowledge sometimes doesn't match with hers from previous life...
So... you slowly find out things ate not what they seem... including her identity as Ye Wanwan... then the plot changes from typical modern rebirth and revenge... to her trying to find out who she is and getting her man that disappeared back so she can spank... I mean... so she can get the truth out of him... xD
Let's say there's a lot of chinese clichés... but told in a refreshing way? For example... she doesn't use her identity as his girlfriend in her showbiz career... but doesn't think twice before using it to deal with his family, his business and the women trying to go for him...

Ohh yeah I really get it now. Yep it would be quite boring if story changes to some revenge plot and yeah I think it’s quite boring that way. I used to read a novel, it was like a ceo being attracted to his sisters BFF and and then it turned into revenge on a military dude trying to make her his wife, another one also has manhua and it was about modeling queen after leaving modeling, finding out her bf cheating and she returns back with the guy she met in marriage department. It is now about how great is she, like she is ultra healthy and fit after giving birth, she starts acting and it’s ultra good, people tries to frame her she has all the evidence. Like it kind of get boring when it repeats and plot gets too long. I think i would be bored too

Honestly? I like this one better. As you said those about revenge get boring with they recycling the same situation over and over and the Ml helping her under covers cuz she doesn't want help again and again... I'm at a point that I basically skim read it... ╮(￣▽￣)╭
It's like thise super smart assassins Mcs that get thrown back in time... kill no one, gets plotted against and fall gor it all the time and depends on the Ml for everything... the ones about one night stands and babies i gave up long ago...

It's not easy being a man after traveling to the future is nice too... but the novel is way better... same with Cannon fodder records of counterattacks... and then... there's Zombie sister strategy that only has the novel... and I'll say nothing about the ones about western fantasy cuz theres a lot of them... I read'em but am not really in luv with most of them... I specially avoid those where the ml is either step or adopted brother... too much ew for me...
But back at the topic try to give this a chance... and read the novel if possible... the novel is always better...

Can you give me a real good novel that you read and found so much better without having any disgusting stuff. I also have brother-sister thing, I mean they are literally raised together but no ewww, also not something like black lotus, dude literally has a permanent leg damage and they end up together, another ewww, and possibly not something ultra long and boring it would be nice if it was a farmer ml, I kinda miss a simple story

Hm... honestly there's one... but it's not romance nor a FL... but is one of those you read and read it again... the plot is not really simple, but more of the Mc getting swept in the plot... It's Trash of the count's family. There is a comic too...
Now... if you are into BL... cof... there's one... one that is finished and I've read many times... It's called Quickly wear the face of the devil... the mc is a bottom... he is a hacker that got linked to a system and forced to play the "villain" in many worlds... until he finaly cracks the system and goes from world to world building his strength to fight against the main system and go back to his world. I'd say more but would be spoilers... because there's many worlds with different stories it doesn't feel too long or repetitive...
There's not many simple stories tbh...

Haha thanks, what I mean with simple is not too much drama, it’s annoying and boring when mc gets attacked at her work goes home then fights with ppl, eats someone poisones her then finds the base wipes them out then another enemy and goes on and on. Like I dropped a lot of those weak guy gets superpower plot a lot because of this type of plots. And I literally fckn hate when character loses their powers to save someone. So what I prefer is something that has equal fun to its action. Something like gintama I think

I'm reading from the beginning. I'm on chapter 25 and I'm concerned about how abusive everyone is.

Got a bitch teacher who flat out bully Wanwan in front everyone.
Bitch classmates who removed her make up in front everyone to shame her.
A bitch man who locks up the mc every time he thinks she's stepping out on him and forces her to dress ridiculously to hide her beauty. All his staff thinks terribly of her. (And he forced himself on her once?)
Then there's the ex-bf of the friend Yaran who treated her terrible, embarassed her in front everyone and he blames her for not taking his shit. Physically abusive to her.
Then there's this chick, can't remember her name,CM who looks like she wants to steal everybody's man, a total manipulative bitch.

There's nothing positive to root for here tbh. No idea why it's so popular.

Hmmmm its popular bcz others have read it far ahead..its good uh will know once uh read it...its missing many details in manhua adaptation so we think that its not good..ml never forced her to wear that make up nd dress like that. She did it herself to keep ml away from him.. Ml locked her bcz many people are behind her and want to kill her and he has promised her grandpa to protect her..tbh yehan is one of the best ml of manhuas..uh will see in later chapters..he is doing everything so that she wont leave him and he will b able to protect her...in first few chapters she said that someone killed her after she got divorced with yehan that why ml is trying to keep her

I guess the good reviews came from the novel readers that it affected their rating on this manhua even if it's league's behind on the novel, though it's still trash for me. Manhua characters aren't likeable in the slightest, I've read few of them but always dropped them, i can't seem to like any of them no matter how many times i try, plot is always recycled, it's always abusive, toxic, corny, childish, I can't seem to get the logic of these manhuas, drama at its finest.

And misunderstandings between the main characters that's so stupid

Chillax... things will get better. Both her faceslaping people and her relationship with him. Honestly I was like that when I started reading the novel. At first what kept me going was thinking of how she would fvck up his life this time to compensate... then... I started to see things are not quite what they seem... and that in this one he does have a good enough reason for his actions.
I also would like to remind you that she was manipulated into dressing like that and acting like a trashy crazy b!tch by that manipulative b!tch who's after her man... I'm not saying their behavior is ok, but that her actions contributed...
But don't worry, now that she is more clear headed she will have her sweet revenge and get over it...

Yeah reading the novel influences A LOT. This is most to put faces behind names and for a couple of extremely satisfying scenes that are nice to see illustrated.
Those misunderstandings and drama are the bread and butter of those kind of romances so is basically impossible to avoid them... but what differentiate this one is that the plot thickens and twist from the classical modern overbearing CEO and reborn faceslaping FL into something more interesting.
Honestly I'd recommend you to go for the novels instead of the comics... specially the ones with slow burn or almost nothing on romance. The FLs on them are usually stronger and smarter than the I'll just rely on the ml all the time troupe. (This one will turn into that at some point so don't give up on it)
