I was really excited when I found out there was a webtoon about ASMR because they're literally two of my obsessions at the moment

But idk, this webtoon wasn't it for me aaaa. There are moments that I find cringy or looked too forced. I was interested in the sunbae at first, but didn't grow to like any of the characters in the end,, maybe because nothing major ever happens and there wasn't any character development. Plus, there were characters introduced who seemed important at first but only appeared for like 1 or 3 episodes. And the theme of remembering/liking someone from their voice wasn't even used, the guy never noticed despite filming all those asmr vids and Hyesoo had to say it was him in the end sjdjsjd

It was an ok casual read though its not something I'd add to my recommended list. I'm more interested in the side couple but they didn't even get much screen time;;; (the art was cute though)

1. Usually when the ex shows up they cause so much unnecessary drama but in here she's actually really chill and supportive I love it??? I like Taehee and Jinju's relationship they're like siblings <3

2. Their problems / misunderstandings don't drag out to several chapters and they fix it in 1-2 chapters its so refreshing! I love the communication between the two omg plus the fact that Taehee actually respects Dojin and backs off when he's told to aaaa I love it

3. I love their dynamic where the pretty boy is on top and the guy who works out and has a great body is on the bottom ohoho

I loved the fluff! I think this was a really nice read, though I still do not approve of Kei being too forceful on Yuri ;;

Also I can't help but use (Banana fish) Ash and Eiji's voices for the characters while reading this skjshdjd

I admit I didn't get immediately hooked on this,, there wasn't anything particularly likeable about the characters at the start. But as I kept on reading and realized this was not the usual love triangle, I got more interested, then I found myself falling in love with the story because of how realistic it was <3 The characters acted like their age, had their own flaws and had character developments that I really liked! This had the right amount of fluff and drama imo.

And though I loved Seungtaek and Kyubin's story, I think I'll reread this for Suhyeok and Imbeom I just love them so much T^T

also can we talk about IMBEOM AND SEUNGHEE'S FRIENDSHIP THAT WAS REALLY WHOLESOME

This ended up being a pretty good read! The overall plot was nice and I enjoyed reading this a lot though I feel like the story progression could've been handled way better aaaa. Here are some thoughts:

1. For some reason I just couldn't like the main couple as much as I think I should? Didn't like how Jisuh just went along with Heejae even when knowing that he looked into his background. Then it turns out he never just thought about it until they started having feelings for each other?? It felt weird idk,, also the way how heejae changed from the manipulative type to a simp in just a few chaps felt off I never grew to like his character

2. I don't like how the old ex appeared and disappeared just like that. Its like, he was put there for the sake of the plot to move? The 'closure' between him and Jisuh was really unsatisfying

3. The way I was hyped when Jisuh was planning to get revenge omg I was all "wow this story took an interesting turn I LOVE THIS" ,,, only to end up with him forgiving Heejae at the end;; I mean I get it he grew feelings for the guy but then what was the point of the whole revenge thing then? It made me have expectations that just led to disappointment sighhh

4. I LOVE SUNYOOL!! Ngl, I didn't like him at first and his feelings for Jisuh came outta nowhere tbh,, But I ended up liking his character the most. I was really rooting for him and hoped he would win in the end T_T I loved his character development. I also loved how he was a switch,,, which leads me to #5

5. I loved the second couple better but i was a bit disappointed to see Sunyool still ending up as the bottom with Haeyoung :( I was really enjoying seeing him as the top and Haeyoung who had the bigger built as the bottom sighh (but the smut was still good though!)

yes! I do agree with all of your comments.
    1. but i also really enjoyed the first couple. of course, preference and personal opinions play a role in it but overall, I thought that what WOULD have helped is diving a little more into the semes past, and they didn't. if we got a little more background on past relationships i think it would be more obvious how scared he became of looking Jisuh. I think that it could have been done slower to show the progression more, but at the same time it is a... lose lose situation? if someone was reading this with a slower pace, they may say it was too long and drawn out when it could have been done in a couple chapters. I think the background on Heejae would have also made us more... understanding? of why he looked into Jisuh's past. I appreciated that he was putting forth the effort to change his ways, and Jisuh actually LEFT HIM in the first place. Not saying that everything about them is perfect, but i did love them.

    2. i agree. although i like that it was obvious that Jisuh was done with him. I thought it was rather realistic for him to reach his breaking point and just decide he was completely done. Jisuh, in my opinion, had his closer and his ex just couldn't accept that.

    3. actually, I liked it a little bit but personally I didn't think it suited his personality at all. When he said payback I was like yes! stand up for yourself! but when I realized he planned to completely leave him I think that Jisuh would have regretted how damaged he made Heejae. He didn't realize how closed off he Heejae was, and how much he had opened up to Jisuh. So when they made up, I was glad. I also liked that when they were fighting and broke up, Jisuh said something like "Thanks for making me realize I'm not someone for revenge." because I personally related a lot with Jisuh, and I felt it was out of character for him. But for him to realize he couldn't do it seemed very in character. In the end he just walked away, and I liked it.

    4. YES. HE WAS MY BABY. I also thought his feelings came a little out of nowhere but I didn't hate it. I thought it would be weird if they got together though, and in the end I liked where it all ended. Not going to lie, personally I was rooting for them to all have sex in the same room. All four of them. I thought it would be incredible, but I'm not mad they didn't either.

    5. I thought it was alright. I, personally, don't like the bigger one as the bottom very much. I did, however, really like it in this story and it had a lot to do with Sunyool's personality. Often in stories like this the smaller seme seems almost twisted when they have sex, (not always but many stories) and it always made me feel uncomfortable. But I think that overall they implied that they are still a switch, and probably did many other things in the future. I LOVED THEM.

I'm sorry for replying back with such a long message, I just love analyzing things and couldn't resist adding my thoughts into your comment.

Despite the negative comments I actually liked this? Besides the amazing art, I really appreciate how things didn't become too toxic and they actually sort things out like adults by talking it out. And the consented sex?? I also like how the other guy who's supposedly obsessed with one of the mc isn't physically forceful. I would like side stories about the student council and the side couple *u*

Nari May 16, 2020 7:02 pm

Tbh the first few chapters were a bit hard to read because of the translations but after it improved, this turned out a really good read! I really liked the female mc and the rest of the characters were pretty much likeable. This was wholesome, cute, funny, and got me a bit emotional at times. I do wish we could have seen more of Will's dad but overall I am satisfied with the ending aaaa

Ngl the only thing I didn't like about this dj was, like most of y'all have said, adult todoroki doing it with middle school midoriya. It was SO uncomfortable to read aghhh

BUT!!! If they removed all the sex scenes this would've been really good imo? Imagine the FLUFF seeing shouto going soft and taking care of middle schooler izuku? ( NOT sexually aroused pls ;; ) And the ANGST where shouto lied about them currently dating just so he can be with him and get to know more about izuku when they haven't met yet? The drama was handled well also can i mention the art pls shouto kirishima and iida looked so good omg

tldr; i would've liked this better as a shounen ai

Usually I wouldn't read stuff with this kind of theme (idk its just not my type) but I was really into the art so I continued reading it... then before I realized it I found myself reading not just for the art but for the plot and characters as well! I liked the pairing, and those artworks at the end of each chapter were really good!!
