Just on this Manhwa but in general, why do fls end up with MLs that killed them or abused them in the past? Like there is always a misunderstanding or something or the other that justifies why the ML treated them badly but don't they have some sort of trauma? Like if someone abused me I wouldn't want to be with the same person or someone who is similar to the person even. Cause i would keep getting flashbacks n whatnot. I just want a Manhwa where the main lead doesn't end up with their abusive ex for once. But I keep encountering these types.

ML didn't abuse her though? Also, she died while saving the ML. ML didn't kill her intentionally, his powers went rampage and couldn't control himself and MC decided to sacrifice herself for him in the name of love.
Thats why I said in general. Even when ML abuses MC, she goes back to him and shows zero sign of any trauma. In this manhwa, he did treat her pretty coldly, also remember he literally killed her. Accidentally yes, but you cant forget someone killing you. Why is there no trauma for that?
First of all he didint really kill her she sacrified herself thats not really his fault.
Second of all its already explained that the reason why he was so cold isint because he disliked the Fl but because he got teleported to Fl's world of a false promise and couldnt go back to his own.

He did kill her. Accidentally, he lost control n she willingly went there, it wasn't his fault but he did. I am not saying what he did was wrong (him being cold and all), his actions were justified. My gripe is there is never any trauma shown when Fls suffers from past life n then in her current life she is trauma-free completely. That's why I said in general.
She had 10 years to heal off from that trauma with her current family. She did get what she prayed for which is a green flag family- I think they just skipped the trauma shit you’re talking about and moved on to the point in time where she’s “trauma-free”. I don’t see why she’d get trauma from being in a one sided relationship- the guy never forced her into the relationship anyways it was her decision too. I understand that she was hurt, but then again, the moment she got reincarnated she had a green flag family to help her heal from that.
