First I thought it's my internet, then the website but this is the case in many different websites. Even on well known scantalation websites- asura and all.

good to know i'm not the only one! WWEEEE!!! as for anything BL coming out of China....i find that very hard to believe unless it's very VERY censored, to the point where really it's not a BL it's more of a maybe it is and maybe it's not!! kind of thing >.<

I never watch or read BL if it's from China, like you said too much of it is censored.Sometimes it almost doesn't make sense at all. That's why I'm surprised if there is BL from China ahaha...As far as I know, most of these films come from Thailand.

Thailand can get some good ones. Best ones i've seen come from South Korea though. At least TV and Movie wise. Yea, what Kayden said... and as i said in a previous comment....... pretty sure it's just the app that is owned by a chinese company.... BUT they're also pretty much the only one of two apps that you can watch Thai BLs on, the other being Rakuten Viki and tbh iQiyi is better than Viki as you have WAYYY more options as I've had Viki before. And yea seriously... BLs from China are few and far between. There is a website where you can see all the BL shows in existence and where to watch them so you can see all the different nationalities and Thai is 100% the most popular in terms of BL producing tv shows

Their country is truly number one in making such films, when I look for romance films from Thailand the first thing they show me is if not BL, it must be GL. (￣∇￣")

Oh absolutely!!!! They really do try their hardest and Thailand has gotten so much better at making their BL shows tbh! I just started a new BL show yesterday that had been finished in 2025 and the acting and romance is pretty great!! I've been cheesing throughout the whole thing so far and I'm already halfway through lolol!!

There is this thing that I don’t get with Chinese stuff though, why do they censored that much yet when it’s a about sex and all the even have a museum and never censored, yet they censored a little kiss in TV(￣∇￣")

Oh no, I wouldn't say all of them are that bad. I feel like the ones that are older you can tell the acting isn't as good? But it also depends on the producing brand... like the "Mandee Channel" produces some really good BL shows with some pretty decent acting skills because they have a higher budget for their shows, even if the shows are older than the more recent shows. I've also been finding that some recent shows, no matter the producer, have some really good actors!!

But yea tbh... don't be surprised if you come across some Thai BLs where some of the acting, if you compare it to American standards, are a little amateur...

Sorry, I don't. I don't really watch yuri shows. But I got my own BL recommendations by looking up "best thai bl shows in 2025" and just picked random ones off of that list and watched them! I'm sure you could do the same with gl/yuri

To save the next generation lol...There are too many things that their country has to protect, even if a romance film does not meet the standards of their country's leaders, it should not be shown. I've been on holiday there, and it's true that even accessing the internet is very difficult.(￣∇￣")

I haven't even watched that many haha... I think I found a master when it comes to BL movies.Acting is also important in attracting the audience, honestly I get bored quickly so if the actors act well and the story is interesting, I can watch their story over and over again.(▰˘◡˘▰)

For the story about Yuri, try searching for the actress "Tina Jitallela" if I'm not mistaken that's her name...She is very famous for playing Yuri movies.I've never watched a movie she's acted in.But I'm pretty sure the actress always plays in GL romance.

Tell me the summary about the story,maybe i know.But it is true that the old stories were very interesting... Now there are several stories that I have read, almost half of which have the same storyline.Only the character names are different, but the storyline is almost the same.

Yes! They have English subtitles. Trust me, if there were no English subtitles I wouldn't be watching them cause I don't understand Thai haha! After watching all these shows the only things I really know how to say are "hello" (both the male & female version as there is a difference) and "why" lolol

So they do have a few GL series on iQiyi but it was hard to see whether they were all rated really good or if they were only rated good due to the fact that there are barely any GL series on iQiyi... because wow... it was HARD finding any GL tv shows on this app. I found two that were very highly recommended and I believe it was due to the story itself and the acting and not just because of the fact they are GL/Yuri so I will list them but I'm not sure if they can be found outside of the iQiyi app:

traveling around is very hard at times >.< and i don't even come from the U.S. originally. going from one language to another @.@ excuse me? WHAT!!?? English is hard and yet very simple at the same time!! the concept of black and white things for western countries are not the same everywhere else, which is very confusing for like 60% of the world, and rather funny when having those conversations of trying to explain it.

i remember trying to explain what my service dog did to help me get around back in Sri Lanka when I was younger and no did not speak English very well yet. So go from Italian, to English to Sri Lankan. Oh the things that got utterly lost and confusing. （￣へ￣）
