Why do people think that they died????

Bcs ending closed with their drowning scene and this ones side stories so most of the readers through this stories as a 'what if'

But the ending literally said he regained his memories. How would they know he regained his memories if they died? It heavily implied before the side stories started that they lived. I never understood why people thought they died

Nope at the end of chapter 90 they're on a frozen lake and it breaks and they die there the side stories are just what happened before they died

oHhhh, i thought u meant the one where they fell off the cliff. But i'm pretty sure they didnt die as its seen they were running around in the present at chapter 92, as i remember. Also we have gotten side stories about their daily lives now, so it would be a throw off if they did die.

Yeah, the side stories are what happens before apparently and the actual story ends with them once again under water but this time it's from a frozen lake so I guess they just freaking die. Idk about anyone else but I'm gonna ignore that ending because I hate it. It's so disappointing after everything for it to just end that way.
