
I've been saying this for years. Get rid of the nobility! They're all nothing but trouble! Making me deal with your mess as a hostage. Like come on. I get it, the prince has a "plan" but his side of the war killed her father and vice versa. That's why I hate war. I ain't marrying or falling in love with the enemy. Period!

I feel kind of conflicted. I'm not one that cares for relationships, irl or in stories with abuse. For me I would have loved the bittersweet ending, where the two of them part ways. I just think it would have been better that way. But I'm glad to see Heiner come clean to Annette about what happened to him and apologize for what he did. And vice versa. Forgiveness is very hard to give especially if the pain runs deep. I can definitely understand cause I myself know heartache as well as many others up here.
Kathryn was a real one. She will be dearly missed
