I believe that you are confused about the person the doctor called in. The two the doctor called in are Kyle and Nicolas, while our main characters are most likely Carlyle (Rile) and Ash.
Ash has heterochromia and brown hair with only one side falling down while the rest is combed up. The person the doctor called in had blue eyes, and black hair with that part in the center…?
