I had a hunch ever since the very first moment I saw him in chapter one that Rayne was going to be my fav and I was absolutely right! I continue to fall more and more in love with him with each appearance that he makes and idk how much more of him my heart can take before it bursts!

Can all the humans in this just die already? I'm so sick and tired of them all (and that damn hunter). I started out liking Hansoo (even though she was sometimes annoying and useless) but now I want her gone too! Dumb bitch actually fell for that obvious lie and led innocent people to their deaths for her own selfish gain. Their blood is on her and that idiotic wannabe hunter's hands. I sincerely hope karma is swift with them.
And wow SM's transformation literally has me shook like I'm actually there! His eyes are ice cold but he looks even hotter now (didn't think that was possible lol!). I hope that when this whole mess is over, SM comes to his senses and accepts what he is because as BM rightfully said, the vast majority of humanity is foolish. A species filled with simpletons. No one in their right mind would ever willingly want to become one.
This flashback is so heart breaking. No wonder Big Master is so angry all the time, he's been through so much.

This was hands down one of the best manhwas period, not just in the yaoi genre but overall as well. The characters were complex and interesting, the story fascinating, the art unique and incredible to look at and the smut enticing and mind-blowingly good. I had read (and loved) this series years ago around the time it first began but I took a hiatus from it because waiting a week for new chapters was too painful for me.
I've just finished reading the last chapter after starting a marathon from the beginning a few days ago and - quite frankly - I'm crushed now that it's over. And I'm now left misty eyed as I write this post. I hate when this happens but I can't help how I feel. I'll miss them all especially C&K so much. Seeing their love grow from beginning to end was so heartwarming (and at times heart-wrenching). Plus, unlike a lot of other series, you really feel the love the two shared, it was genuinely palpable. Their relationship dynamic was so beautiful, healthy and strong, definitely one of the best pairings there is.
Few series out there now match this one in quality and who knows when another series of this caliber will emerge again. In the mean time, I'll go compose myself and keep reading other stories while I wait. I'll definitely return to reread this story again and again in the future as well (once I've finished grieving haha!).
