The sene emperor is known to be very cruel so when he summoned for the chen’s daughter to become his concubine the Chen’s sent the uke,their extremely beautiful mute male servant in the daughter’s place. The uke thinks he is successfully deceiving the seme into believing he is a she (he’s not, the seme just doesn’t care they are both men) while they both slowly fall in love. The seme’s main consort is bullying the uke because she thinks her position is threatened. She gets caught blames her maid and is forced to watch the maid she whipped to death. The main consort finds out uke is really a man so she went right back to abusing the uke and is scheming to expose the uke being male to the emperor.
