So my thing is he keeps going on saying it has nothing to do with him and he has no feelings about everything, but doesn't it seem like there was even more feelings this time. Could just be me though.

Definitely noticed that, too. Sensei very distinctively drew him with a visible biceps in three pictures of the new chapter. She has not done that before and I don't think it's an accident or a coincidence. Also, when you compare the new pictures to the older ones of Akihito before and during the penthouse attack (which is the last time we saw his upper arms), his arms look much more developed now and he has built up some muscle mass. I like it! Yet another visible sign of the change in Akihito.

From what I got from the flashback or whatever his father killed his mother. So for some reason he kept her body? Anyway I don't nessary think he wants to kill the other guy, though that is quite possible. He probably just wants to keep him there forever so if he does die he'll keep his body as well.
I'm also sure he likes his own dad though again I could be wrong
