How would you want stories to handle dark and disturbing topics?
Just look at the classic novel lolita crazy disturbing themes in my opinion (not read yet) no matter how you twist it but alot of people praise how well it's written and the story that it tells. Great writing doesn't shy away from these topics it makes us think about them in new and interesting ways or helps us see the issue from another perspect......

What's something NEW you wanna see? Or something that authors don't do alot?
I feel like more romance isekais where it's the ML's pov. Like ik we have a few where the ml turns back time but not alot actually feature his pov. There are one or two I've read and they have been so good and refreshing to read ngl. Honeslty just more ML povs is a win no isekai needed. I JUST LIKE SEEING MEN ACTUALLY TRY yk my fav/only example......
