How is she dumb? It seems to me, that she started off weak, but after experiencing the lives in the martial world, and now returning to her original world, shes slowly regaining her confidence from the martial world. Its slowly coming back to her and we see her tactful and beautifully scheming ways to get back at those that have wronged her. That's my opinion at least.
