I don't think he is going to die, but more like he is probably going to get serious injuries that will put his life in danger. I think this story needs a time skip eventually so it might happen after this.

Here is my theory, I think Bakugo is going to get a life-threatening injury, Midoriya is going to lose control of his power in grief and ends up hurting a lot of people. Eri will use her power to save Bakugou once she knows how to use it. All might is probably going to take Midoriya to a place to train and where he can better control his powers.

Here is my second theory, Midoriya is going to lose One For All to Shigaraki and the Heroes are going to lose this fight. Bakugou and Midoriya are both going to be in serious trouble but will pull through. Midoriya is going to be quirkless for a while until Eri can turn back time or he get it back from Shigaraki.

Here is my third theory, All might had said in a previous chapter that unless Midoriya willingly give One For All away, nobody can forcibly take it. Shigaraki might be able to absorb One For All with his new powers but I don't think the author will do that. If anything, I think the author is going to make it look like Shigaraki stole his quirk but actually couldn't and Midoriya is just going to think that he did. It will be good for Midoriya to go on a soul- searching journey, or something like that, that will power boost him physically and mentally.

Right! That's why I don't like animes or mangas with girls in the main cast.
