No it’s "evil" that disguises itself as a person or posses someone to kill her along with another person (the prince) who made a pact with this "evil thing "

So basically just like mc there’re ppl who also have powers they’re called guardians and most of them are sealed away
Her power doesn’t only read the past but it can also free those guardians who have been sealed away ,if they’re freed they’re gonna fight the "evil" and kill it ,that’s why the "evil" kills her everytime
And the reason why she keeps coming back to life is because there’s this princess (she also has special powers)who wishes to protect the world from " evil"and from her brother (Belial the prince) and she needs mc to do so,
She knows mc is going through much but she can’t help but bring her back

Feels like a realistic rift/dungeon/monster theme. In other manhwa everyone would've already became a superhero some magical shii lol I like that they remained same ol' humans. It's more entertaining like this when Humanity is unfairly facing creatures out of their grasp

yeah like the part with the unexpected drug withdrawals was kinda crazy realistic for this type of setting and is lowkey smth i never seen in other apocalyptic settings outside of something overdramaticized or as a tragic ending to some characters.
