My theory of why the father left Dawa:
I feel like the father was a soldier or general? And Dawa's mother had died and they had no other relatives. The father might have known about upcoming war between the Tibetans and Chinese and knew he'd have to go fight in it so he left Dawa in the monastery for his safety. He might have also known he'd probably die in battle.
But I still don't understand why he had Dawa dressed as a girl.

Personally I'm excited to read where this goes bc I'm curious about Will and I know Daath and Juda have their own fluffy pups in the future so I'm not too worried about them.
Couple things:
- I wish Daath would just tell Juda the truth, it'd make things easier but we'll probably get there eventually with a sprinkle of drama and hopefully a sexy reconciliation.
- Will is being an ass but he does have a point about soul bonds. I can tell he's been hurt badly in the past and his frustrations have been pent up, but he's still being an ass. And his logic doesn't even make sense "fall in love with me if soul bonds aren't real" when Daath and Juda have already reconciled their differences and fallen in love with each other... that doesn't prove anything bud you're just being a jerk and betraying your friend and hurting Julio in the process.
- I think the first step would be Will actually falling in love with Julio and THEN maybe asking him not give up on that love but what is Daath even asking him to fight for when Will doesn't have feelings for anybody yet. I mean it sucks Will has such a cynical take and seems like he's given up on finding "true love" but that's not really something you can force someone to believe and certainly not Daath's place to convince him. It would be more up to Julio to prove his love is serious and make Will have faith in him or heal his pain and show him what love is, but...idk I don't see how that would work right now with their current personalities.
- If Will and Julio did get together I feel like their relationship would be riddled with insecurities. Will always worried about the "soul bond" and never quite trusting in Julio's love for him, and Julio with his low self esteem and believing he's not good enough to be loved. Unless there's a lot of character growth (which there is a lot of potential for!!), I can't quite see a happy end. But I do hope Julio gains confidence and Will softens up and heals, and that they both find happiness even if it's not necessarily with each other.
never seen a manga end on such a cliffhanger LMFAO
